Mary-Ann here to share, probably my favorite card I made this month with Creative Cafe's Monthly kit - Let's hear it for the Boys! I know that you have seen this guy before and you have seen birthday cards this month, but this guy is too cute not to use. Besides, we are here to share how many different ways these stamps and products can be used, right?
So, here is my take...
I started with a standard A2 gray card base. Layered some base papers and machine stitched the edge of the top layer. Like last weeks card, I punched a 3" and 2" circle but you can use a cup, a bowl or whatever is round and the size you want to create your nesting circles if you don't have a punch handy. I whipped these through my machine. I added these to the center of my card with foam tape for dimension. Cut a newsprint strip to go across. Now on to the hardest part for me.
Piecing this guy together. I thought about coloring but who can compete with design team member Kristine? I thought I would just stamp him on the papers I wanted and fussy cut him out. Be sure to use fine tip scissors or you will be sorry:o)
Here is the inside of my card. Cute! I did the same paper piecing technique for his back side and dropped black spray ink to dirty up the white base where I will write my sentiment.
This truly has been fun to share with you and I will see you again next week!
