Crabs crabs and more crabs

Probably my favorite pick of the bunch is the little crab!  The "Under the Sea" Stamp set in this months Creative Cafe Kit is ah-mazing.  You will see lots of designs this month with the super cute submarine, the mermaid and that terrific whale.  I decided to use MY favorite, the crab.  It's Mary-Ann here to show you how I wanted to show off just that little guy.   What is better than repetition?  This card is super simple.

I started with an A2 card base in red of course.

Cut a slightly smaller piece of the most solid paper in the 6x6 paper pack.  I stamped the crab over and over and over.  You can see that I smudged a little bit of ink over to the left of the paper so I started stamping my crab there and knew by the end, that would be covered.  Unfortunately, I do that all the time.  I chose to color my crabs with watercolor pencils, you could use Copics or Gelatos if you have them on hand.

Once I colored them all in, I took my blender pen and started blending the colors from the outside in. Be sure to clean off my brush before each crab.  I went back at the end and did the black and gray coloring.

I colored one more crab on an extra piece of paper, fussy cut him out and added him to one of the crabs near the bottom of the page with foam tape.  A banner with my sentiment was added last.
See, super simple.  Just lots of coloring but this little guy sure is worth it.
