I came across this when Blackboard and White wash started becoming a fun and new trend. I've changed mine up a bit today as I'm using a pink inks instead of white ink on a black background. And once again, I'm featuring the gorgeous Floral Bouquet stamp set that is included in our August Creative Cafe' kit.
Check this out it's easier to do than you think!
To finish - I took my T-bar ruler to help me create a 'wonky' edge to my card. There are dies out there to do this as well, but I just had fun cutting my angles myself.
Once I had cut my background piece to the angles I wanted, I backed it with Pink cardstock with just a 'smidge' showing. I put this all on a White card - cut and top scored at 4 1/4" x 11 - so it would finish as a standard A2 card and fit any envelope.
I used the stamp phrases 'Happy' and 'everything' from the Add-On stampset this month "Laurels" to create my sentiment 'Happy everything' aligning each word with the angled edge of the bottom. Stamping directly to the white card.
That's it for me today - keep an eye out we'll be sharing a sneak peek soon of our upcoming new kit release for September!
