I am so excited by the card I made today!
It's a tall step card that I created using the October Rubber Cafe' Creative Cafe' Card Kit, Christmas behind the scenes.
This card folds down into a regular A2 size card.
To make it, start with a 11" x 4 1/4" piece of green cardstock.
Start at 1 1/2" and score at 1", 2", 4 1/2", 5 1/2" 7 1/4" and 10".
Cut on the dotted line between the 1" score and the 10" score.
Fold on the score lines so you end up with this.
Here's a side view.
Cut patterned paper slightly smaller than the panel it is for and adhere with Scrap Happy Glue.
Add a strip of Scrap Happy Glue to the bottom as shown and let it dry for about 15-20 minutes.
It will still be tacky but will be clear.
Apply the lace trip to the glue strip and tie on the red twine.
Stamp the stacked elves on white cardstock with memento ink and color with copic markers.
Then cut them out and adhere to the card with 3D Foam Squares.
Stamp the sentiment on a white die cut circle.
Back panel with a larger green die cut circle and then with a red scallop edge die cut circle.
Add a bow embellishment and adhere to the back step.
Stamp the elf image with black memento ink on a white panel and color with Copic Markers.
Cut out image and back with papers before adhering to card as shown.
That's it! I hope you you enjoyed today's "Tall Step Card" tutorial and that you will give it a try!
