January 2015 re-cap

Dear Rubber Cafe Friends,
Welcome to the new year.  By now, we should all have our homes clean from holiday debris and moving forward to more crafting! We wanted to remind you of all the beautiful projects our Design Team has created and to encourage you to get back at it this new year.  Come with us and take a look....

January's Creative Cafe Kit of the Month was designed to to inspire and and help you have a time of reflection on the past year.  The new year is typically a time when we take a glance back and promise to make self-improvements in the upcoming year.  Sometimes we need a little bit of inspiration, something to remind us to believe in ourselves and our ability to preserver.  This kit is filled with bright colors, stamps with inspirational expressions, and cute images to help you remain inspired. Be sure to check out our add-on stamp set that completely compliments everything in this kit.  Want to be inspired?  Go HERE to sign up.

Did you know that each month, our design team member Debbie Seyer provides you with a video that shows you exactly what our Creative Cafe KOTM includes?  For the peek into January's KOTM "It's a New Year" head HERE or click on the image below.

Each month our design team tries to bring you new ideas and give you directions on how you can create or re-create a project that we made.  This month, there were TONS of Shaker cards on our blog.  Receiving acetate and sequins were the perfect fit for this task.  This month, design team member Mary-Ann Maldonado gives you step by step instructions and dimensions on how you can create your own shaker card.  Head over to the blog for instructions HERE.

You can also see a video of Debbie Seyer's "Rainstorm Pocket Card."  She shows you another use for your acetate.  Go HERE or click on the image below.

Our goal is to provide you with inspiration.  Our design team receives the same kits you do.  They create and then share on the blog!  Hoping to inspire you along the way.  You can use the inspiration provided or follow along the tutorials and replicate what you see.  Remember that handmade cards are the best!

You can find more tutorials, videos, and step by step directions over on our blog.  Click HERE.
Each month, we will provide you with fresh inspiration almost daily and bring in a fresh face.  Be sure to tag us on

so we can see what you are creating.
Maybe you could be the next fresh face!

We hope we have brought you loads of inspiration this month and look forward to next.

See you next month,
The Rubber Cafe Team
