Easter Joy "Fold" Card

Hey Rubber Cafe' Fans!

"Spring is Here" and that is the name of this month's Creative Cafe' Kit of the month.  This is a very special kit- with yummy spring colors, combined with our special coordinating stamp-set, along with everything from the ribbons to the embellishments are going to really provide you with some inspiration in your crafting this month!

I just got mine yesterday and couldn't wait to tear into it.  For my first card I used  "Egg-stra Special", the stamp set that comes with this months kit.

I used Spellbinders Labels 8 die set for my card but you could use any label dies that you might have on hand.

I started by die cutting a piece of yellow cardstock with the 5½ x 3⅞” die.
I die cut the floral paper from the Echo Park Sunny Days Ahead paper pack that comes with this months kit with the 4⅝ x 3⅜” die.

I cut a panel of polka dot paper with the 4⅝ x 3⅜” die and a white panel with the 3⅞ x 2¾” die.

Then I glued the panels together using Scraphappy Sheer Glue.

I cut a piece of 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" green cardstock.

I used my Scor-Buddy to score the largest panel at 3/4".

Adhere the scored panel to the green panel with Scraphappy Sheer Glue.

Score the smaller panel at 1 1/4".  I should have scored this with the eggs right side up but was in a hurry and didn't think it through.  So when you do it, flip the panel around :)

I adhered the second panel too the other side of the green panel with Scraphappy Sheer Glue.

Then I adhered a piece of patterned paper (4" x 5 1/4") to the inside of the card with Scraphappy Sheer Glue.

I created the inside sentiment panel by layering a 2¼ x 1⅝” white panel on to a 3⅛ x 2¼” panel of patterned paper and then on to a 3⅞ x 2¾” panel of pink die cut cardstock.

I adhered the sentiment panel to the inside of the card with Scraphappy Sheer Glue.

I tied a blue ribbon around the card base.

I stamped the images on the small panel with Memento Black Dye ink.
I stamped the sentiment with Memento Teal Zeal Dye ink.

I colored the image with Copic Markers.

Adhere the felt flower and leaves to the card front with Scraphappy Sheer Glue leaving part of the leaf not glued down so it can hold the card shut.

Here is how it looks all closed up.

I hope you enjoyed my first card with this months kit!
