Egg-stra Special Delivery!

Hi everyone!  I've got a fun card for you today using our Spring is Here KOTM that's a sweet card for Easter or any spring time event or birthday:

Base:  5&1/2" by 4&1/4" Pearl yellow cardstock

To create the first layer, cut a 5&1/4" by 4" piece of white cardstock, then die cut oval shape in the center of this piece about 1/2" from the top.  Turn this piece over and add foam tape around the edges.

Next cut a 3" by 4" piece of the spring time word patterned paper, and glue this to the center of the card base near the top, using Scrap Happy Glue

You'll have these two pieces:

Remove foam tape backing, center the white frame layer over the card front and tape it down.

Cut a 1" x 4" strip of pearl yellow cardstock, wrap with orange seam binding and tie a bow.  Cut a strip of the chick design paper, mat on pearl yellow carstock.  Glue both of these pieces under the oval using Scrap Happy Glue.

Stamp the chick twice and the sentiment in Black Tuxedo ink on white cardstock.  Trim the sentiment into a banner shape and mat on pearl yellow cardstock.  Color the entire chick in with copic markers once, then just the egg and the beak on the second image.  Fussy cut out entire chick, and then just the egg and the beak.  Brush the egg piece with a thin layer of Scrap Happy Glue and let it dry (just a few minutes), then sprinkle with Crystal Ice You're So Fine Glitter, rub and buff glitter into egg.  Foam tape glittered egg shell and extra beak piece to full chick image.  Foam tape to right side of oval, add sentiment banner.

Thanks for stoppin' by the cafe' today!  I hope you are enjoying all the gorgeous spring time inspiration using this fun kit!  Stop back soon for more!!
