Hello, Hello, Hello!!

Hi everyone!!!  Laura here, with more inspiration from the April Creative Cafe' KOTM.  Today I'm sharing a bright, sunny card to send to anyone who just needs a cheerful hello!

This card is like two in one.  You create a 3x3 card, then attach it to the right side of a standard A2 card scored longwise) and you've got an easy little fun-fold card!

Base:  Cut yellow cardstock piece 4&1/4" wide by 8" long.  Score at 2&1/2" and fold.

Next, cut a 3" x 6" piece of gray cardstock, score at 3" and fold....to make the mini card.

You can honestly decorate this up as much or as little as you want.  I cut a 2" by 3&3/4" piece of the yellow phone pattern paper, and matted that on a 2&1/4" by 4" piece of gray cardstock and attached it to the left front panel.  I added a small banner in the upper left corner of yellow paper from the 6x6 pad matted on gray, and added the 2 enamel dots.

Next I cut a 3" by 5" piece of yellow pattern paper, and matted that even with the right side....on a 3&1/2" by 5&1/4" piece of white cardstock.  I then glued that down inside the card even with the right side, using Scrap Happy Glue.

To decorate the 3" by 3" card with a 2&3/4" by 2&3/4" piece of the yellow phone pattern paper on the outside.  I added two enamel dots.

Stamp the sentiment in Black Tuxedo ink on white cardstock, trimmed it to a banner, and matted on gray cardstock, then added it to the front about 1/8" from the edge of the yellow phone pattern paper.

For the inside, cut a 2&3/4" by 2&3/4" piece of white cardstock.  Stamp the chandelier in the upper left corner, and the sentiment in the lower right corner, using Black Tuxedo Memento Ink.  Use a bit of Scrap Happy Glue on the "gems" on the chandelier, let dry, then apply You're So Fine Silver Medal Glitter.  Glue to inside of 3" by 3" card.  Then cut a 3/4" by 1" strip of gray cardstock, glue under the 3x3 card, then glue the entire card to the right side of the card, even with the right side.  Add enamel dots.

For the strap: Cut a 6" by 3/4" piece of yellow pattern paper, and mat on a 6" by 1" strip of gray cardstock.  Score at 1&1/2" and fold:

Glue short piece to back of card so it wraps around (it's approximately 1" from the bottom of the yellow phone pattern paper).

Stamp the telephone in Black Tuxedo Ink, color with markers, cut out, then glue to the very end of the strap.  Add a small piece of velcro or Kool Tac to close.

Thanks for stoppin' by today!  Hope you enjoyed this fun fold card....and stop back soon for more inspiration!!
