Hi everyone! I've got a little more inspiration for you from the May
Creative Cafe' KOTM!!
With all the fun items in this month's kit, it's hard to decide what to use first! I used a little bit of everything on this card!
Base: Brown cardstock 5&1/2" by 4&1/4" base.
First Layer: 5&1/4" by 4" light blue cardstock embossed using the Darice embossing folder included in your kit! Glue to the base using
Scrap Happy Glue.
Next Layer: Cut a 5&1/4" by 2" piece of airplane patterned paper. Glue to center of embossed piece using
Scrap Happy Glue.
Center Panel: Cut 4" by 3" piece of chevron patterned paper, mat on a 4&1/4" by 3&1/4" piece of brown cardstock. Crinkle up blue ribbon and wrap around left side of this piece. Tie double bow and add hemp bow as well. Foam tape to center of card.
Stamp airplane and sentiment on brown cardstock using
Versamark Ink. Emboss using The Rubber Cafe' Sea Glass embossing powder. Fussy cut out airplane.
Take about a 5" piece of wire from kit and create 3 curls in the wire. Use foam tape to attach sentiment and airplane. Glue wire using
Scrap Happy Glue (as shown on card....with one end of wire tucked under airplane). Add flair button.
Close up of sentiment and bow:
Thanks for stoppin' by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!!
