Welcome to May!
I realize that we are almost half way through May but it is my first post for the month! Mary-Ann here, sharing a card I created using the scooter from the main stamp set which is included in May's Creative Cafe KOTM. For this card, it is pretty simple with a bit of doodling and fussy cutting.
I started with an A2 card base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) of yellow. Adding a slightly smaller piece of
brown 5 1/4 x 4. I then cut smaller pieces of rectangles and added as shown. I used a punch to get a 3" and a 3 1/2 inch circle. You could use any circle die cut you may have on hand. Before adding to the card, I stamped the scooter on to the smaller grid circle with Versamark. Then used black embossing powder and a heat gun to set. I then stamped the same scooter stamp onto light blue and yellow cardstock. I fished out the pieces that I wanted to color my scooter. I raised these pieces with foam tape for dimension. I then added the grid circle with foam as well. Added the flair and doodling around different papers for more detail.
These papers are amazing and add beautiful detail to my scooter. I love the combination of colors and patterns. Be sure to stop in daily for more design team inspiration. If you are thinking of joining me in all this fun monthly, head over to The Rubber Cafe website where you can sign up!
