There are so many reasons to celebrate this time of year. Our freedom, pool parties, end of the school year, or picnics in the park on a beautiful sunny day. These little ants are from the must buy "Picnic Time" add-on stamp set that coordinates with June's Creative Cafe KOTM. They are just darling. If you receive the kit already, you know that there are also puffy ants from Doodlebug included. Is it weird that I think these ants are cute?
I started with a simple A2 card base. I layered papers and added the white block with foam tape after it was stamped and the doodling dried. The ants are embossed to create texture and so is the title. I did back the watermelon with foam as well and used watercolored pencils to color it. It is simple, yet it is fun. A great way to invite people to a party!
