A Washi BFF Card!

Hello TRC Fans!  I don't know about you but I think washi tape is really cool and I have a pretty nice collection of it, too.  This month we were lucky enough to get a roll of washi tape in our July Creative Cafe' Kit - Too Much Sun.  It's a really nice roll of washi tape with colorful polkadots that match the patterned papers and cardstock.  Now I have this big collection of washi tape but knowing how to use it can be a challenge.  Here is how I used the washi tape included in our kit!

This card is a regular A2 sized card - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I cut a piece of the orange cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" slightly smaller than the green cardstock base.  I cut the white cardstock panel to 3 3/4" x 5".  I applied the washi tape diagonally on two opposite corners and trimmed it along the edge of the white cardstock.  Using the add-on stamp set - Perfect Sentiment, I stamped sentiment "best" in Tangelo Memento Ink and "friends forever" in Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink.  I also stamped the little dots included in the Perfect Sentiment set using the red and orange inks.

Here is a close-up......

I tied a knot using the yellow seam binding and then wrapped the orange wire around the knot.  I used a tweezer to coil the orange wire and then added a little flower sticker over the knot to complete the card!

Washi tape is easy to use and repositionable, so get out your washi tape and start makings some super cute cards!
