Hurray For the USA!

Hi everyone!  I've had so much fun playing with the June Creative Cafe' kit, I asked if I could share one more card with you today!  And in honor of the USA's big soccer win yesterday....hey, it definitely fits....Hooray for the USA...land that I love!

Base:  5&1/2" by 4&1/4" white cardstock

First Layer:  5&1/4" by 4" light blue cardstock.

Next Layer:  1" strip of chevron patterned paper matted onto 1&1/4" strip of blue swiss dot cardstock.

Center Panel: 3" by 4" piece of white swiss dot cardstock matted on 3&1/4" by 4&1/4" piece of blue swiss dot cardstock.  Cut out USA panel from patterned paper and foam tape to right side.  Tie red ribbon around 1" by 3" piece of blue swiss dot cardstock and glue to the bottom of the center panel.

Stamp two of the fireworks in Faded Jeans Distress Ink and punch out with a 1" circle punch.  Brush edges with Festive Berries Distress Ink.  Glue a silver sequin to the center of the blue star sequins, then foam tape these to the fireworks circle.  Glue to the left side of the center panel.  Glue entire center panel to the card front.

All card pieces assembled using Scrap Happy Glue

Thanks for stoppin' by today.....hope you enjoy this "inspiration extra"!!
