Let's Make A Latch Card!

Hello TRC Fans.  I hope you are enjoying your July Creative Cafe Kit - Too Much Sun, as much as I am!  I am loving the color combos and the very fun stamps and papers.  For today's card, I made a Latch Card using the cute ice cream image from the Too Much Fun stamp set.

To created this latch card is super simple.  Cut the cardstock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" base and fold this at the 4 1/4" mark.  Cut 3/4" off the front panel of the card base and fold the card.  Place the folded card into your scoring tool and score every 1/4" at the cut point.  I had 3 score lines on my card.  These scored lines allow you "latch" to bend easily when opening and closing the card!

I used a piece of orange cardstock punched from a hand-held punch and I glued the ice cream cone image onto it.  I adhered this "latch" onto the scored panel using 3d foam squares.  Like I said....this was super easy but looks so cute!

Thanks for stopping by today!
