Home Grown Glitter Stripes

I've been having lots more fun playing with the August Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month from The Rubber Cafe'.

This month's kit is called Farm Fresh and it is full of bright, fun, papers, embellishments, and .....GLITTER!!!.

So...for my first card using this kit I thought I would share a fun way to use the glitter that comes with the kit.

To create this card, start by cutting out a piece of patterned paper (4" x 5 1//4")
Adhere three strips of Scor-Tape on the panel.

Remove the two outside strip covers and cover with red glitter.
Burnish it (rub firmly across the strip) to insure it is set and shake the excess back into the jar.

Remove the middle cover and repeat this process with the gold glitter.

Brush away all the excess glitter and then apply three more strips of Scor-Tape across the panel as shown.

Remove the middle strip cover and cover with red glitter.
Burnish it (rub firmly across the strip) to insure it is set and shake the excess back into the jar

Repeat the same process with the outside strips with the gold glitter.

Adhere the panel to a green card base (5 1/2"  4 1/4") with Scrap Happy Glue.

Stamp the flower image on a white panel and color with copic markers.
Fussy cut out the image and adhere it to the card with 3D Foam Squares.
Stamp the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink.

Add three red pearls to the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's Creative Cafe' Kit card!
