Mad Science

Yes, this is my second card with this super mad scientist!
This months Creative Cafe KOTM was so fun!  I have said it before, last week I think, that I had a blast creating with it.  Go HERE if you want to see the first way that I used this scientist.

Let's take a look at this weeks card.
This was the last card that I created for my posts.  It ended up being my favorite.  But because I let my son put my cards in order of appearance, he chose last weeks card first.
Start with a standard A2 card base of black.  Which is an 8 1/2 x 11, sliced down the LONG center at 4 1/4 and folded in half.  Add the orange Doodlebug paper next at 4 x 5 1/4.  Then the plaid paper is next.  I stamped that with Happy Halloween.  I started in the center and keep going until the complete paper was covered.
TIP:  Use a scrap piece of paper under this when stamping.  If you go off of the edges, this paper will catch the unwanted ink.

I decided to add the green buttons, that if you can believe it or not, I had not used yet!  So, I clumped them on the bottom.  Then I started adding the orange dots.  Without trying, it started to look like bubbles coming out of her concoction she was brewing.  That was even better than the idea I originally had.  So, I added more, all over.  Bubbles everywhere!!!

The mad Scientist and computer were stamped on the white cardstock.  I colored them with markers, Copics would work great here.  I used my x-acto knife and mat to cut out the center of the computer.  I did not want all the empty white paper showing.

I think the button clump is why this is my favorite.  It is even ok to add them on top of the green buttons.  Why not?
Thanks for checking in.  Next week is going to be fun too!
