Here is a quick video showing you all the wonderful supplies that are in the October Creative Cafe' Kit.
I love the color combos in this kit. Here is a card I put together using a different color combo that you probably wouldn't expect!
The base of this card is made from the Granite cardstock included in the kit. I cut the cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" and folded it in half. I cut the blue paper (from the paper pad) to 4 x 5 1/4". Using a Versamark pad and the snowflake stamps from the Bonus Set - Christmas is Coming, I sprinkled some Heat 'n Bond powder onto the snowflakes and heat set them. Then I sprinkled on some You're So Fine - Diamond Clear Cool Highlight glitter and then heat set it again. I stamped the village silhouette onto white cardstock using Gray Flannel Memento Ink and cut it out. I cut a strip of the patterned paper that had that cute Santa with his reindeer and snowmen from the patterned paper pad and layered it onto a strip of the Granite cardstock. I added some of the white scalloped velvet ribbon (that is included in the kit) along the bottom of the strip. Plus I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and made it into a banner. Here is a close-up....
This was a fun card to create. Heat 'n Bond powder is like a powdered glue that works great with glitter because once you heat set it, it doesn't come off!
