Only a few more days until Saint Patrick's Day, of course I had to create a card to celebrate!
Step 2.) I sprayed the second layer of pattern paper with Dylusions ink spray in dirty martini. I focused the spray in one area to make the pattern paper more green. Once dry, I used a yellow gelato to color the middle of the card where the sentiment will go.
Step 3.) Using a die, I cut a shape for the sentiment. Before removing the paper from the die, I outlined the shape with my .03 Copic Multiliner.
Step 4.) Using Brilliance in Pearlescent Poppy I stamped the lips. With VersaFine in OnyxBlack I stamped the sentiment, "Kiss me." With Pearlescent Thyme I stamped "I'm Irish." In order to achieve the faded look for "I'm Irish" I applied the ink, and then stamped off on scratch paper and then onto the die cut shape.
Step 5.) Adhere the two layers of pattern paper to the card base. Scribble a border on the second layer using a Copic Multiliner. Adhere the sentiment.
Step 6.) If desired, color the ribbon, included in your kit, with RV09. Tie a bow and adhere to your card.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you've enjoyed my card!
