Cupcake

Hello Rubber Cafe fans. It's Amber here, today I'm sharing the third card I created with the March Creative Cafe KOTM- Special Celebration. I used some of the fabulous gold foiled patterned paper from the 6 x 6 My Mind's Eye- On Trend 2 collection and the lovely strawberry topped cupcake from this month's add on stamp set called Little Cupcake.

Below you will find a step by step tutorial

Step 1.  I started by folding a  9" x 4 1/2" piece of pink cardstock in half to create a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" card base.

Step 2. Cut a 4" x 4" piece of patterned paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad and adhere it to the card base.

Step 3.  Cut a 4 1/2" x 2" piece of kraft cardstock, tie blue seam binding ribbon around the left side, and attach the whole panel to the bottom half of the card base.

Step 4. Stamp your cupcake image onto a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" piece of white cardstock and color. I also added some clear glaze with the Sakura Gelly Roll pen that was included in the kit to the strawberry to give it some texture.

Step 5. After the colored image has completely dried add it to the right side of the card base right over the kraft cardstock and patterned paper. That's it your finished. You can check out a close up of my card below.

I hope you enjoyed my card and step by step tutorial today. Thanks for stopping!
