Gold Embossed Cupcake Card

Hello TRC Fans.  Debbie here today to share with you a fun project that I created with the March Creative Cafe' Kit - Special Celebration.  The stamps I used are from the add-on set - Little Cupcake.  I really love the 6x6 paper pad included with the kit.  It's called "On Trend 2. by Jen Allyson" from My Mind's Eye.  There are a few patterned paper included in the pad that have gold foil accents.  I used that gold foil as a starting place for my card.  Here it is.....

To begin, I stamped the cupcake onto white cardstock using Versamark ink.  I sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and heat set.  After it was cool, I cut out the cupcake.  The base of my card measures 4 1/4 x 11".  I scored it at 5 1/2" and fold it in half.  I cut a piece of the black & white striped paper to 4 x 3".  I also cut a strip of the black/gold foil paper and layered it over the black and white paper.  I stamped the sentiment above the patterned paper using black ink.  Then I adhered the cupcake on my card using foam squares.  To complete the card, I added the grey pearls up in the right hand corner.  Here is a close-up......
