Thank You Card + Z Fold Card Tutorial

Hello Rubber cafe fans. It's Amber here, today I have this lovely Z fold Thank You card to share. My card features lots of goodies from the April Creative Cafe Kit called Petticoat Fashion. This months kit is filled with beautiful stamps that can be layered to create all kinds of different flowers like the one I created for my card. Inside the April kit, you will also find Echo Parks Petticoats & Pinstripes 6x6 paper pad, coordinating cardstock, beautiful ribbon, twine, a coordinating Embossing folder by Echo Park, and a mini jar full of Princess pink You're So Fine Glitter

For this card I used both the Hello, World stamp set, the add on stamp set called The Greatest Gift Of Life, some twine, and lots of patterned paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad. Below you will find step by step instructions to create this Z fold card.

Step 1. Cut all your cardstock and patterned paper pieces.
x 1 White card base- 4 1/4' x 11'
x 1 Piece of patterned paper for the inside of card- 4' x 5 1/4'
x 2 Pieces of patterned paper for inside & outside of Z fold- 2 1/2' x 4'
x 1 Piece of  Yellow patterned paper for stamped panel- 4 1/4' x 3'
(Note I ended up flipping this over & using the polka dotted side)
x 1 Piece of white cardstock for stamping- 4' x 2 3/4'

Step 2. Fold the 4 1/4' x 11' piece of cardstock in half.

Step 3. Fold back the front of the card to the original fold line. This is what creates the Z fold. Use the photo above as a guide to fold.

Step 4. Add the two 2 1/2' x 4' pieces of patterned paper and the larger 4' x 5 1/4' piece of patterned paper to your card base. I also distressed the outside edges of my card base before adding my patterned paper but this is completely optional.

Step 5. This is what your card base should look like once all your patterned paper is added.

Step 6. Add the 4 1/4' x 3' piece of patterned paper to your card base. See below.

Step 7. Only add adhesive to the left side. The back side will be visible when the card is opened that is why you only want to adhere the left side.

Step 8. Stamp your sentiment, images, and adhere some twine to the smaller 4' x 2 3/4' piece of white cardstock. Once all your stamping is complete add this panel to the polka dotted panel you adhered in the step above.

Step 9. Stamp the inside of your card with a sentiment. I used the "The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have found it" sentiment from the add on stamp set called The Greatest Gift Of Life.

After all your stamping is done your Z fold card is finished. This is what my card looks like complete and folded out. All the supplies I used today except the ink pads, mist, and mini button can be found in this months Petticoat Fashion Creative Cafe KOTM. Thanks for stopping by today!
