Circle Note Card

Hello Rubber Cafe fans. It's Amber here, today I have a fun circle shaped card to share along with a tutorial. I used the teal cardstock, white cardstock, twine, 6 x 6 paper pad, the main stamp set Hello, World and the add-on stamp set, The Greatest Gift of Life from this months Creative Cafe KOTM - Petticoat Fashion to create my card. Below you will find a step by step tutorial to help you create your very own quick and easy shaped card.

Step 1. Cut two 4 1/2' circles out of teal cardstock

Step 2. Take one of the 4 1/2' circles and score at 4'. I drew a pencil line to show where the score line would be. You only want to score one of the circles, the other circle will  remain flat with no score lines and be used as your card front.

Step 3. Add some double sided adhesive above the score line. Once you have your adhesive added adhere this circle to the other 4 1/2' circle.

Step  4.  The score line will act as a fold allowing your card to bend open while leaving the front side flat.

Step 5. Since your card front is flat you can stamp and embellish it how ever you want without having to worry about a score line.  I cut two 2 1/2' pieces of patterned paper, one out of the teal/pink patterned paper and one out of the bright pink patterned paper. I added the bright pink piece to the right side of my card front and the teal/pink patterned piece to the bottom half of my card front. I also cut the cute little "Notes" tab out of the paper pad and adhered it to the top half of my teal/pink patterned piece of patterned paper.

Step 6. Stamp some flowers onto some white cardstock and fussy cut them. I stamped and layered some of the gorgeous flowers from the add on stamp set, stamping them to match my patterned paper. Mist/splatter your card front with some colored mist, attach some twine with some mini staples, and layer your stamped flowers.

That's it your finished, you now have a fun circle shaped card instead of the traditional A2 card. I hope you enjoyed my card and step by step tutorial today. Thanks for stopping!
