Hello Banner

Good morning creative people! This is Rachel Kleinman sharing a simple but elegant card. I'll be using some gorgeous papers, stamps, glitter, and embossing folder all included in the April Creative Cafe Kit "Petticoat Fashion".  I was playing around with different ways to use the Echo Park Petticoats and Pinstripes embossing folder, and fussy cutting was my favorite choice (it usually is!)!

I ran the embossing folder through my Big Shot machine and a piece of white cardstock. The pattern that is embossed is several pennant banners. I decided to fussy cut the embossed banners so I could use them individually rather than just as a background. I coated the banner in glue and then covered it with You're So Fine Glitter in Princess Pink. Once that dried, I applied another layer of glue on top and let that dry completely. The top layer will stop any glitter from falling off.

Here's the banner on my card once all of the glue dried. It's still super shimmery but zero amount messy! :)

I kept the sentiment simple by embossing the Hello from 'Hello, World' in gold.

Thank you so much for joining me again! Now go play with your embossing folders! :)

Again and again, i am surprised by what people can do with a simple piece of paper. I will so left out when I come across such websites. The card is beautiful though.
