How Are You? Card

Hello TRC Fans!  It's Debbie here today to share with you a card I created using the April Creative Cafe' Kit - Petticoat Fashion and the add-on .  This time I created a square card so I can showcase the cute Curved Pennant Embossing folder that is included in your kit.

This card measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4".  I cut the pink cardstock to 5 1/4 x 10 1/2" and folded it at 5 1/4".  I cut a piece of the white cardstock to 5 x 5".  Using the Curved Pennant Embossing folder, I embossed the white layer.  I also cut a strip of dark pink patterned paper and a little bit larger strip of the pink bow patterned paper for the bottom.  I added the pink ribbon bow.  Then I got busy stamping my flowers!

I stamped the outline of the flowers using a rose ink pad.  I also used a masking technique for this "bunch" of flowers!  Here is how I did it........

I stamped the flower image from the add-on stamp set - Greatest Gift Of Life, onto some masking paper.  You can also use some post-it notes for this, I used this masking paper because my kids always steal my post-its!  LOL  I cut out one of the flowers from the masking paper.

I stamped the flower image once and masked it and then stamped it again.  This is what it looked like before I stamped the third image.

Here is all three images becoming a nice bunch of roses!  I fussy cut out this bunch of roses.

Then I stamped the leaves and cut them out.  I adhered them onto the back of my bunch of roses before I adhered it onto my card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
